At her wits end, Mac’s mum thrust a crayon into his mucky 1 year old hand. A desperate bid to shut him up. Amazingly it worked.
Since then a love of storytelling in all forms has inspired Mac to develop and work across a broad range of styles and media. A degree in fine art provided more opportunities to explore all things creative. Every day he strives to reach the headiest heights of imagination, fuelled on a rich diet of inspirational films, books and comics devoured during childhood which, when he can find the time, he continues to nibble (and occasionally binge) on as an adult.
Mac lives on the wild edge of civilisation, somewhere near Canterbury, with his beautiful wife and son, several guitars....and their once pretend, now real cat.
Previous work include commissions for 2000ad and comX as well as collaborations with award winning writers. Currently working on a story for the77 comic.
